Ohio's capital, Columbus, is the flourishing home of Ohio State University, a number of state parks, a clutch of cultural sights and German Village, a red-brick neighborhood with old-World charms.
Beaver Lodge Trail begins at Choctaw Lake and is mostly flat, making it a good beginning trail for novice riders. It runs through bottomland hardwoods as well as pines, and passes beaver dams on the Noxubee River. The trail offers a nice view of the beavers’ work from bluffs a bove the river as well as from water’s edge.
