Boasting balmy beaches, a clutch of cultural sights and but a cast away from prize-winning lunkers, fishing mecca, bustling port and resort destination, Gulfport, draws a steady crowd.
North Trail begins with a left turn just past the Noxubee River bridge, and continues until reaching Pigeon Roost Road. After a short distance, the trail begins a half mile climb into the hills. There are three switchbacks on this climb and it presents a good challenge. There are several creek crossings that have been hardened with gravel and geotiles. Blue Trails A, B, C and D all connect this trail with the southern portion of the outer loop, thereby allowing riders/hikers to customize the distance they c over.
